I think words are more powerful than we give them credit for. 

It's becoming easier and easier to watch a soccer match on your phone or find stats on Twitter, and as a sports reporter, I set out to turn words into a compelling story that you won't find anywhere else.

In my seven years as a journalist, I've covered everything from Little League baseball to high school football to Penn State basketball, and one thing hasn't changed: there's always a story a tell.

I'm passionate about journalism because I love great stories, and luckily for me, great stories are everywhere.
